Virtual Bible Study

Refugees are our neighbors. As we grapple with what it means to live out our faith by loving our neighbor, we need guidance."Who Is My Neighbor? What the Bible Says About Refugees" is a four-week Bible Study that comes alive when you’re able to seek answers and discuss with other people.  Bible Study meets on Zoom 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm CDT every Tuesday from October 6 -October 27. Participation is free, but registration is required.

This training prepares volunteers to engage with the refugee community. It offers in-depth learning and activities to broaden a volunteer's understanding of who refugees are and how they get to the United States, as well as what help they receive when they arrive. Learn about the culture(s) of many refugees who are arriving and how to navigate cross-cultural communication and friendship.

Help meet the needs of refugee families who have lost their jobs or are unemployed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, as many families are experiencing food insecurity. You can participate in a Grocery Care Pack event by sorting, packing, and/or delivering food and essential items to the doorsteps of refugee families. This is a great opportunity for individuals and small groups.
